Ten.Ten.Ten

Exciting developments are happening with ten.ten.ten! But the main thing is applications are being accepted as of this coming Friday. If you're on the fence whether or not you're going to apply, you owe it to yourself to just DO IT!! With the selection process, EVERYONE has a fair chance at being the lucky couple. The process is going to be so much fun, you won't believe it.

Keep an eye on the ten.ten.ten blog. Very soon we'll be posting a short video Q&A explaining a few questions we've had asked. Also, we have some other postings coming up that wil be way fun and quite informative.

Mardi Gras! - Browers Style

Does anyone recognize this motley crew? Not included is Brishen and Josh...we lost them in the crowd. Being my first St Louis Mardi Gras experience, it was a LOT of fun, for sure. We did it up right in Corporate Village. Not only was parking provided, we had, literally, a first row seat to the parade and was right beside the main stage. Oh yea, did I mention the great food and the open bar...and heated tent!!??? Seems a Browers Photography tradition may have been born.... :) BTW, we had to sleep 12 hours to recover!!

I just love this picture....

I love the water, I love boats, and I love this cool couple. Brad and Darci's first meeting on their wedding day was on this cool pier. We hadn't planned on the hundreds of boats, but it was super cool anyway. Sweet.
Peace,
michael
technical note: wondering how this happened? One might deduct that I was standing on an adjacent pier. There wasn't one to be had. This is completely open water. I'm just so good, I can actually walk on water.... ;) Actually, I took the 300mm and stood on a busy beach to shoot across the bay. Needless to say, people had fun trying to figure out just what the heck I was up to. Not to mention I was standing on a beach in a black long sleeve shirt and black pants. :)

Brittany models dresses for Blushing Bride

Bridal Show was held at the Hilton Garden Inn. For the lighting we simply held a flash (yellow gel for incandescent lighting) off camera. This shot was balanced to pick up ambient light. We did some more dramatic shots with hardly any ambient light. fun fun. Without the gel, the background would have been super yellow.

Dual Monitor Support... ( I'm in love.....)

Okay...maybe in love is a little strong, but the newest major version (2.x) of Adobe Lightroom has dual monitor support, of course. I recently added our 23" cinemadisplay to the 30" display I have been using regurlarly. Wow...it's amazingly more efficient. I never would have guessed. Especially since I shoot a lot with the 1.2 to 2.0 (razor thin DOF), it lets me have an instant 1:1 image up so I can quickly review the sharpness. Sweet. Lightroom does a lot of other cool stuff witht the dual monitor capability, but you can find 100 different sites on the web explaining it in detail.

peace,
michael

Bouroir - 2009 Ultra Marathon

We are teaming up with the amazing Sabrina, from Proposing Dreams, to provide one of the craziest, coolest ultra Boudoir marathons you've ever seen. Including on-site hair and makeup, as well as refreshments, it will be the most fun you've ever had in front of a camera!!

In order to appeal to just about anyone, we'll have three types of session (1) a full session, resulting in enough images to create a gorgeous presentation book or disc (2) a mini session designed for someone wanting to find out first hand just what all the rage is about. Less time and less cost, but still resulting in beautiful imagery and finally (drum roll please) (3) the group session! Bring 4 of your closest friends to share the experience. With a much longer session time, you'll have a fun little party while everyone takes a turn in the different settings.

The location is an upscale loft in St. Louis. Depending on interest, we're shooting for sometime during the first part of March. We'll also have at least four days available to cover both weekdays as well as the weekend. Please let me know asap if you're even just mildly interested.

We'll forward specifics ASAP.

---- Looking for the ultimate bachelorette party experience, that will be talked about for weeks, if not months??? Again, probably not for everyone, but if your group of girls is a little on the crazy side, a Private Collections event may just be the ticket! If your curiosity is just a little piqued, give us a call. (planning and hosting provided by Sabrina at Proposing Dreams)
