Good camera bag deal

Looking for a rugged but affordable solution to carrying your camera gear? Until 10/31/2010, the Kata OC-84 is being sold at B&H Photo Video for $149.00. That's $100 savings from the regular price of $249 (still $249 on Amazon). The bag is apparently discontinued by the manufacturer, but is still in supply at many online camera stores.

We use Kata bags and they're super tough, light, and do an amazing job at protecting expensive camera gear.

 On the second day, Rich covered studio B! while I snuck out for a few shots of the Blue Angels.  The formation was a little loose.  You could tell they were nervous... (NOT!).  They sure know how to wow the crowd!!

jim came in to help out with studio B! and had a chance to capture a few very cool images.  (300 2.8)  Rich also captured some cool shots - I'll post them when I find them! :)  The air show was very good!

Sonny

The newest addition to our family, Sonny.  An adopted mixed puppy.  He's a hoot.

dave wants to fly....

Dave sportin' his dad's helmet and leather jacket. He had a blast at the air show and I think the Blue Angels impressed him.  That helmet was with me from the start of pilot training through a 20 year career.  Of course, he looks better in it than I did, LOL.

Saturday only at the Scott AFB Air Show!! If you like this sort of thing, come on out. It's FREE!! Lots of other cool displays. The Air National Guard has an amazing setup right next to ours. You can register and play 7 different challenges in their super cool Command Center. Open to all ages!!

Airpower over the Midwest Air Show

Had a chance to watch the Blue Angels practice today. Very cool. It would definitely be worth a trip to check it out this weekend. Of course, Studio B! is making another showing as well. The kids will have a chance to dress out in flight gear for their photo! More air show info HERE.
